Enormous to get new #1 and legacy numbering

Enormous will be getting a new #1 issue. The book, which was previously #7, will be an all new #1. But, they will also have a box that has legacy numbering. See below:

Anyway, Tim Daniel went on the CGC message boards and mentioned that “some real significant progress on the show happening this week. A big, vital step forward.” Will update when more news becomes available.

  2. I love that #8 cover. I noticed next to the # it says 1 of 6, 2 of 6 and 3 of 6. Is this a mini or a six part event?? I know you posted these book covers a while back, but I don’t remember the event story line.

    I suggest everyone gets a preorder in now. Order 100 copies! Without a doubt one of the most down to earth creative teams who deserve a print run as big as they come.
    If the show stays fairly true to the books as I imagine it would each book will become key. Especially with the introduction of pivotal new characters that are coming. I hope it gets picked up for a continued TV series. Each “season” of the books would explode.

      1. No you shouldn’t!… I guess you are stuck studying it like the rest of us until you get a well rounded, firm view of what it is!

  5. Enormous is such a great series. I like the breaking up of arcs. Just something that helps me keep track of where I am at in a story.

    1. Gotta say I am glad there is more news coming. Like many others on this site I picked up multiples of back issues when it was picked up for TV. However I read the comics and enjoyed them. Have to say I am a fan now.

  6. Yeah this was a heated debate on the cgc boards last week. I like the compromise but I dont personally care the numbering I want more story. Enormous is an amazing read and great art.

  7. The enormous gained my respect. For them to take the time to engage the customer and take in feedback. They are getting my dollars. #Hoarding.

  9. #6 came out on 2-4-15 and it is now 3-26-15! Losing interest more and more with every passing day! Yawn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. I’m more than happy to wait for quality books to return. Just as I am with the likes of Saga when it goes on break. The attention to detail within the pages is a great deal more in depth than many others hitting the shelves monthly. I’d much rather a short delay than a rushed product every time.

    2. Is the book monthly or Bi-monthly? I’m fairly new to is so I am not sure. Either way the artwork is very detailed so I’m sure it takes a while to produce. Quality over quantity.

    3. Yeah, can’t blame the Enormous team on some of the delays from the first arc.. it was all Diamond who was causing delays most of the time.

  10. Yeah I read the interview Tony did with Tim Daniel a while back and he was talking about dimond screwing up some release dates on some of there books. This is a great series and I’ve been getting 2 copies since the beggining 1 to read and 1 for the PC. And none of them are for sale lol. This is a series that I would let my kids read when they get a little older. Good art good story. It just has the full packet.
