Hello Chu Fans! I hope everyone celebrating Turkey Day was well stuffed.
Well, this week is a little better that what we’ve seen the past month, I believe. I actually have a pick of the week AND drek pick this article. Read on!
COVERS
We’ll talk about a potential first appearance in this issue below, but I have to give credit for a fun cover…it’s ugly sweater time, and Bruce Wayne is “All In.” Well played, DC.
Mark Spears Monsters: The Monster and the Wolf #2
For those looking for more Monster and the Wolf, Issue #2 is on FOC. The best cover is the 1:25, in my opinion (GPK homage). Upset that it’s not open order, though. Boooo!!! (not the scary kind of boo, either).

NEW ONES

An almost dreamlike work, Peach Momoko has assembled a collective of artists, all telling one story, with many parts, as Sai makes her way through the Multiverse. A true spectacle of the comics medium, unlike anything you’ve seen before!
Sai is a rendition of Psylocke in Marvel Rivals, so not a new character. Not sure if there will be any new characters introduced. Momoko’s run on Ultimate X-Men hasn’t caught any fire, despite the creation of new characters anyway…so thinking this will be more of the same.

Uh oh…K-Pop Demon Hunter cross-over…? Probably not. But looks like a new character will appear, and perhaps will be on the spoiler cover. I’m guessing it’s this character below (Vibe), which may be a villain.

I know this is more of a youth/kids comic. But seems to have a more mature subject matter. Could be a sleeper in this day and age of horror rivals. The art looks interesting as well.
PICK OF THE WEEK
Potential new character, shown on this cover. Artist says it’s not Absolute Zantanna (who appeared in Absolute Wonder Woman previously). Possibly a gender swap absolute Mad Hatter?
Absolute Batman has been on a hot streak lately. That makes this the Dirty D Pick-of-the-Week. (Going with cover B on this one).
DREK OF THE WEEK
Another Iron Man Reboot…I swear Iron Man holds the record for #1’s.
No one asked for this. Just continue the legacy numbering, Marvel. You’re embarrassing yourself.
Parting Thoughts
So it’s on to December after this…hard to believe the end is coming…might have to put together a yearly FOC recap…booms, busts and misses.
