Think Outside the Toy Box: Avengers Age of Ultron Thanos Build A Figure

I’ve been on bit of a break, but it looks like the word on the street is true and Marvel Legends Avengers Wave 2 have been spotted out in the wild. This is going to be a huge wave because the BAF (build a figure) is none other than the Mad Titan himself, Thanos. It is hot off the truck today and is selling extremely well at the wholesale level so don’t wait too long. Remember one of the keys, first to market wins.

Now here is where some case information comes in handy. There are a few ways going about getting Thanos. You can get the whole wave 2 case here and be done. But notice there are duplicates of Iron Man and Hulk. You can easily sell those on ebay or what have you. This also means retailers will have one extra of each. Making Thanos’ left leg and left hand more plentiful than the other body parts. Then notice that Hellcat and Spiderwoman each have a head and right arm. So that makes the head and right arm just as plentiful. See where I am going? Looks like the winners in the case and the harder to find ones are going to be Captain America (right leg?) and Batroc (torso).
Feel free to shoot any questions you may have and happy hunting.
Also of note the Hobgoblin BAF is in stock and I know Daredevil and Spider-man 2099are still the hotties in that one. Although that might change, the revision looks like they added a Spider-man 2099 while still short packing Daredevil.
And lets not forget that poor Odin and Old King Thor BAF are still out there as well looking for some love.
Feel free to shoot any questions you may have and happy hunting.
Remember these are just tips and suggestions. How you think outside the toy box is up to you.

  1. I’m running out of space for my comics.. there’s no way I’m gonna start collecting toys too, unless I want to live alone after my wife leaves me with the kids.

    1. I don’t collect toys. I do buy them and have them around but not sure it is a collection.
I used to be a die hard action figure guy with hundreds of figured but backed off and then sold them before i got married.

  2. I never had collected action figures. I do buy them but for my boys and my wife since she likes collecting that over comics. I did however collected model cars and did the same thing Tony did. Sell them before I got married. Now I just collect comics and draw here and there when someone pays me for a comic panel for there personal collection. Non of my drawing have made it to the comic books yet but one day lol. Do you draw Tony? I know Poyo does since I got to see his homage to WD 100
