Acclaimed creator Mirka Andolfo (Unnatural, Sweet Paprika) returns to the coaldust-choked Victorian atmosphere of her international hit Mercy—this time with fan-favorite collaborator and artist Lidia Bolognini (Sweet Paprika: Black, White & Pink)—to bring fans an all-new Gothic tale in the upcoming Merciless. This four issue miniseries is set to launch in December from Image Comics.

Fifteen years after having rid itself of the terrible Devil of Woodsburgh, the thriving former mining town has finally begun to let out a long-held breath… That is, until an enigmatic new Lady comes to town.
Rory has finally come of age and is ready to open her factory. But her arrival coincides with the uncanny: a strange new drug called Electric Sumac is coursing through the streets, leaving ordinary men and women unnaturally strong… and dangerously unhinged. Rory, and her companion Joel, are determined to stamp it out… whatever the cost. For they know something the rest of the city does not: the drug’s mysterious origins are anything but earthly.
