Following the historic debut of G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero/Tomb Raider #1, Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with leading games, IP and toy company Hasbro and video game developer Crystal Dynamics, announced a complete sellout at the distributor level. Marking the first-ever crossover event between two of the most beloved action franchises ever, the landmark issue will be rushed back to print.

From the best-selling creative team of writer Kyle Higgins (Radiant Black, Teen Titans), artist Elena Casagrande (Black Widow), colorist Alex Guimarães (Invaders), and letterer Pat Brosseau (G.I Joe: A Real American Hero), G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero/Tomb Raider #1 will return to comic book shops on December 2, 2026, with a second printing cover by artist Annie Wu.
“If …KNOWING IS HALF THE BATTLE, and raiding is the other half… then maybe the third half is selling? Okay maybe I don’t know how the math works, but I do know that our 2nd printing cover is another stunner!” said Alex Antone, Editorial Director. “Annie Wu always delivers the goods, and we’re thrilled she’s a part of this historic success!”
