iZombie renewed for second season

More good news comic and tv fans, the iZombie TV show based on the Vertigo comic is going back for a second season.
Once Again, Comicbookcom has the story.

iZombie, the fan-favorite CW based on Chris Roberson and Mike Allred’s Vertigo comic, has been renewed for a second season.
The series debuted earlier this year as a midseason replacement series for the network, and airs following its its fellow DC Comics adapation The Flash on Tuesday nights.
Developed for television by Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero of Veronica Mars fame, the series stars Rose McIver as a med student who attended a party and ended up infected with a virus that transformed her into the walking dead. Forced to consume human brains to keep from turning into a mindless, shambling monster, she goes to work helping the coroner (Rahul Kohli) and a police detective (Malcolm Goodwin) solve crimes using psychic impressions she gets by eating the brains of murder victims.

iZombie #1 goes for just under $30. The first appearance of the book was in House of Mystery Annual 1 which goes for just under $40 on average.
Looks like this book may have some staying power.
