Ok follow along for a moment. There was once a proposed TV show called Bruce Boxleitner’s Lantern City. Bruce was going around the convention circuit promoting the concept for the show, as well as the website www.lanterncitytv.com. There is also an IMDB page for Lantern City TV Show, a steampunk show produced by LeitCraft Productions (Bruce Boxleitner’s company.) Then, last week, came the Lantern City #1 comic book.
Seems like there might actually be something going on with this.
Sources were telling me Executive Producer Trevor Crafts was talking about the show at Atlantic City Boardwalk Convention saying the show may be coming to Netflix.
Now then, copies of Lantern City #1 can still be found for cover price on the stands. It was put out by Boom Studios, and I cannot imagine that it would have a high print run. Might be worth picking up a copy.
Here are the variants for Lantern City:
Lantern City #1 FOC Weldele Variant
Lantern City #1 1:10 10 Years of Boom Ben Caldwell Variant
Lantern City #1 1:20 Dave Dorman Variant
Lantern City 1:100 Carlos Magno Jackpot Variant
Thanks to Mel the Movie guy for the tip.

Yeah I ordered the 1:20 variant and never received it so that sucked. If I can’t find it here is San Diego, I might buy it from 3rd eye comics since they have a couple of them. In my opinion one of the best covers.
I just realized last night I bought the jackpot variant for cover price, I assumed it was a standard cover because the shop I go to had a few just sitting on the shelf.
Nice!
