Final order cut off just happened (last chance to order a book before it is printed) for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #44 2nd print and the book is sold out. This is the (maybe not so much a) death of a turtle issue that sold so wildly as no one knew it was happening.
In fact, the second printing is now sold out and a Third Printing is being rushed along. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #44 Third Printing will be out 4/29/15.

We all know how “deaths” play out in comics; it’s still baffling how well the 1st print is selling on Ebay.
its a sellers market though man, I did well with mine.
I was worried that the price might drop by the time I got mine listed, but they held strong and sold mine within minutes!
Ordered a copy just to see how they “kill” Donatello

Not sure he is not dead from the interviews going around.
