The one with the media tie-in
Kanan the Last Padawan #1- First comic appearance of an already established Star Wars character. Variants are jumping right now. Worth the pick up.
Return of a Favorite
Lady Killer #4 Selling out at online retailers. Past issues are great sellers. This book has movie written all over it.
The new Image #1
No Mercy #1– I Love De Campi’s Grind House. This is a sure pick up (but I pick up all Image #1’s)
Small Press Gem
UFOlogy James Tynion IV won me over with Memetic. Odd choice for a pick of the week, but great writer, small print runs, one of those odd ones that could take off.
The Pick of the week
Ravenous #1 -Creature Entertainment. Small print run and already sold out. Worth the pick-up and the gamble.

Just FYI, No Mercy has a Display Variant and it will be the last Display Variant with a different Image logo.

Rick & Morty #1 might be a good pick up. only one season of the show is out so far but it’s gotten great reviews and will only get more viewers with the second season

Old Image comics, Hoax Hunters vol 2 #1 sold out online and is now Heavy Metal publishers first title to print.

Just noticed GI Joe #212 is sold out on some online retailers. Part of the write up for it says (spoilers… though how much of a spoiler is it if they advertise it?….) “The Death of Snake Eyes begins here…”. After the TMNT hoopla from a few weeks ago, is there a new trend of “killing” off nostalgic 80’s/90’s characters?

Yup, I picked up both covers. One shop only had 6 total. Another around the same. Seemed pretty limited.
What is UFOlogy about?
Aliens and such.. I only picked up the virgin cover cause it was at cover for me, I intend to sell. I skimmed and read the description, the story didn’t really appeal to me. I haven’t really gotten into the writers stuff.. I tried Woods but it just got clunky, it was too fast paced.. like it was rushed or something..
You forgot one. Space Riders from Black Mask. Low print run and already hard to find. Luckily my lcs ordered a bunch.
