Small Press Gem
Ravenous #2– Great book with strong art. The print runs on these are small, talking about 2,400 copies, but man, really great book. I love horror and horror comics so this is a must pick up for me.
The new Image #1
Empty Zone #1– New Image books catch my interest. New Image horror books, yeah, I am all over this.
The “Come on it is Harley Quinn” One
Harley Quinn & Power Girl #1– Expect this to be a slow burn. This will be a $10 book. All things Harley Sell. Expect a sell out on this one.
The Outside Chance
Prez #1– Girl books are popular, just check out all things Spider-Gwen (or Silk, depending on which side of the argument you are on.) Here we have a returning old DC book retooled for the present day. Teenager who becomes president. This time it is not a hippy boy but a young girl. Also check out Black Canary #1 for more DC female power.
The Pick of the Week
Mad Max Fury Road Furiosa #1 Continuing on from the success of the last release, Mad Max Fury Road Furiosa #1 is already selling on eBay for $10. There is also a blank sketch cover for this one for the blank fans.

Prez is one of those books that should not have a gender swap when rebooted because Gaiman brought the character back for one issue of Sandman, so it’s like gospel. It’s not as bad as If DC wanted to reboot Brother Power The Geek as “Sister Power”. Then I’d have a major shit fit!

I have yet to see a #1 myself.. last time none of the stores in my area got any so I’m not even gonna try and hunt them down this time.
I have #1 if you want one.
I found a #2.. I’ll skim it, see if it’s worth picking up the others. The one shop out of 3 I just visited had just 2 copies.
