Diamond Comics Advanced Reorder List for 7/28/13

The Diamond Comics Advanced Reorder list shows what comic shops are upping their orders on before the books ship. These could be new #1’s, books that have got some heat behind them, 2nd prints of already sold out books, or stuff that buyers are coming in asking for. This week is a treasure trove of sold out books going back for 2nd prints. This means the first prints are long gone from the distributor and could be seeing an increase in price.

1. HELLBOY MIDNIGHT CIRCUS HC- Mike Mignolia’s epic saga continues in this HC stand alone. Pre-order Hellboy: The Midnight Circus at 25% off through Amazon Hits stores Nov. 5th

2. JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #7- Trinity tie in

3. HAWKEYE HC VOL 01- Marvel’s best book gets a hard cover release. Pre order Hawkeye, Vol. 1 at 29% off Hits stores Nov. 19th

4. DEXTER #1 (OF 5) 2ND PTG DEL MUNDO VAR- 1st Issue sold out and on the rise. Variant has done well on secondary market.

5. SAGA #13 (MR) $2.99- Off of it’s hiatus. Look for a media push on this book to send it higher in price. Saga #1 TPB cheap Vol 1 TPB at $5 Vol 2 at $8

6. SUPERMAN UNCHAINED #3 75TH ANNIV VAR ED VILLAIN CVR- Continues to be a big seller for DC #1 can be gotten for as little as 1 cent #1 1 in 25 Variant for under $8

7. DAREDEVIL BY MILLER AND JANSON OMNIBUS HC- The epic Daredevil storyline. 1st print of this hardcover goes for over $300.00. Pre-order the new edition for 25% off

8. SHIELD BY STERANKO TP COMPLETE COLLECTION- Jim Steranko’s run on Shield is legendary, the covers alone are classic. In store in Sept. Pre-order for 29% off.

9. WAKE #2 (OF 10) 2ND PTG- New Vertigo series is picking up steam, 1&2 sold out at distributor level. This book has been gripping since it was first released. Issue #1 and
Issue #2 can be had for cover price or less.

10. BATMAN #23 – Dc’s best book continues year zero story line.

11. RED SONJA #2 JENNY FRISON COVER- #1 Sold out at distributor level before book was released. Gail Simonehas knocked it out of the park with this.

12. EAST OF WEST #4 2ND PTG- Each issue keeps selling out. #4 also had a blank sketch variant which jumped in price. look for early issues to shoot up later in the year. 1st print for less than cover.

13. ALL NEW X-MEN PREM HC VOL 03 OUT OF THEIR DEPTH- Pre-order for 26% off

14. GHOSTED #1 2ND PTG- Now an ongoing series, announced at SDCC. 1st prints still available for less than cover, for now.

15. RED SONJA #2 NICOLA SCOTT VAR- See #11

16. GHOSTED #2- 1st issue sold out, and going back to a 2nd print. Picked up as ongoing, this book has heat behind it. See #14

17. WALKING DEAD #113- Moving towards the bi weekly shipping schedule. Always a favorite of ours.

22. WILD BLUE YONDER #1 (OF 5) 2ND PTG- 1st print sold out quick, but can still be had for less than cover. Great story and art.

23. AVENGERS ARENA TP VOL 02 GAME ON- gets a lot of heat for the subject of kids killing kids, even off they are super powered. Pre-orderable at 25% off
