One of the books on the horizon for next week I am really looking forward to, and is a great speculator pick, Is ‘Zero’ #1 from Image comics.
Here are my thoughts on this book. First, it is a new Image #1. A lot of shops tend to by-pass this kind of book because it is not your typical superhero fare. It is sold out as of yesterday through Diamond Comics Distributors, almost a week before it is released. There are three regular covers, but only one variant, a phantom variant. The Phantom Variant features art by one of my favorite artists Paul Pope. (we gave away one of these as part of our 100 likes on www.facebook.com/comicsheatingup contest)
The book is getting good reviews and is well worth the pick up.
