A look ahead to Wednesday 10/2/13

God I love Wednesdays. New comics, New promise, new chances to make money flipping books. Here are the books I am scoping out for next week. Some big ones show up too,

1. Batman Court of Owls Book and Mask set One of the biggest sellers after SDCC was the Court of Owls Masks. Here you can get both the Court of Owls TPB and a PVC mask as a set.

2. Fantomex Max #1– Not often you see me put a Marvel book on here, but Fantomex is cool. He is such a great character, based off a French spy movie hero. He get’s his own series in a Max series.

3. Grind House: Doors Open at Midnight #1 – Capitalizong on the look and feel of 1970’s and 80’s grindhouse movies, full of action, violence and sex. This could be my pick of the week.

4. Hinterkind #1 Vertigo is back to it’s former glory and this book looks to continue the tradition. Decades after “The Blight” all but wiped out the human race, Mother Nature is taking back what’s hers, and she’s not alone . . . The Hinterkind have returned.

5. The Mocking Dead #2 Sold out first issue going back for a third printing. Subscription cover doing well on the secondary market. This book is a great October Halloween book.

6. The Walking Dead #1 10th Anniversary Edition Walking Dead #1 in color for the first time. I own the full series, including several different versions of #1. Completeists will go nuts for this. Fans of the show will be looking to get this as well.

      1. I hope it is a good one.
But then again. I am a horror fanatic.
        I picked 30 Days Of Night #2 & #3 Slabbed.
        9.4, 9.6.
        At a sweet price!

  1. My pick of the week:

    ARCHIE #648 SIMONSON VAR CVR
    ARCHIE COMIC PUBLICATIONS
    (W) Tom DeFalco (A) Fernando Ruiz & Various (CA) Walter Simonson
Archie in “ARCHIE, Clod of Thunder!”- Get ready for entertainment in this hilarious superhero parody by comics legend Tom DeFalco! “Master of the Storm” Archie resides in Allgood, an honorable city over the Rainbow Bridge, where the food is plentiful, the girls are heavenly, and everything is absolutely… boring! Turns out that being an immortal warrior isn’t as fun as people might think. When Archie finds himself in trouble, thanks to a prank of his brother Reggie the Wicked, his father banish
special variant cover by Mighty Thor mastermind Walter Simonson!

  2. I think TFAW.com has The Walking Dead #1 10th Anniversary Color edition date wrong. I believe this is coming out October 9th, not tomorrow.
