The Diamond Comics Advanced reorder list is a speculator’s hand book. It gives what comics have been reordered in advanced of final order cut off. These books are ones that had a first issue that did well, have hype behind them, are getting blog and message board coverage, or are getting chatted about in the shops. For whatever reason, these are the books to keep an eye out for.
1. SANDMAN OVERTURE #1 (OF 6) COVER B – No doubt one of the biggest books coming out. People who don’t read comics read Sandman. Before Walking Dead, Sandman was the biggest seller for graphic novels in traditional book stores
2. SANDMAN OVERTURE #1 (OF 6) COVER A – see above.
3. CATWOMAN #24– Joker’s Daughter story continues
4. WOLVERINE AND X-MEN #37 – Wolverine without a healing factor takes a mortal hit. Cover features what appears to be Wolverine and Mystiques’ son.
5. VELVET #1 – ED BRUBAKER and STEVE EPTING redefined Captain America with the “Winter Soldier” saga . . . and everything they’ve done so far has been leading to VELVET!
6. X-MEN #5 2ND PRINTING NOTO VARIANT
7. SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN #20 – From the fallout of NECESSARY EVIL, comes new beginnings and new twists that will be felt in the pages of Spider-Man for years to come! SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN #20 is where it all starts
8. PRETTY DEADLY #1 – Kelly Sue Decconick’s big new Image #1. I will have signed copies or regular and Third Eye Variants available for these October 26th.
9. ALL NEW X-MEN #16 2ND PRINTING LOPEZ VARIANT
10. SEX CRIMINALS #2 – First issue was well received.
11. MAD PRESENTS SPY VS SPY FIGHT TO THE FINISH TP
12. X-FILES SEASON 10 #3 2ND Printing – X-Files continues to do well and sells out.
13. EC ARCHIVES TALES FROM THE CRYPT HC VOL 04 – Classic horror at it’s best
14. ZERO #1 2ND Printing – Awesome first issue. Sold out quickly
15. MY LITTLE PONY TALES TP VOL 01 – People do love Ponies
16. SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN TP VOL 03 NO ESCAPE
17. BEWARE THE BATMAN #1 – TV Show tie in for Cartoon Network Show
18. SECRET AVENGERS #10 – Infinity tie in
19. X-MEN TP VOL 01 PRIMER
20. STAR TREK TNG DOCTOR WHO ASSIMILATION COMPLETE HC
21. SEX CRIMINALS #1 2ND Printing- See above.
22. BATMAN DETECTIVE COMICS TP VOL 02 SCARE TACTICS

I agree with you on Sandman and Velvet, but all those TPBs…not see in the resale value on those…
I agree. The Diamond Comics Advanced Reorder list does not separate them out though. I used to leave them off and them people would ask “what was #12” so now I do the top 20-25.

I love to speculate but i dont want boxes and boxes of worthless comics. How can I prevent this?
Sell. That’s what I always do. I speculate on things that are heating up so I can buy the things I like. I read mostly horror and love the old Skywald and Warren magazines. I have filled in my collection nicely by using funds from selling speculation stuff. I only keep things I love.
