Picks of the Week continued… 11/6/13
Left one off the list in my tiredness of getting the post out last night. All Crime #2 comes out tomorrow. The first issue had a tiny print run and sold out quickly. It was going for more than cover on eBay. Since this is the 2nd issue, expect it to be harder to find. In addition to all that, the first issue was a good Pulpy read.
We also have a first appearance this week…the new Ms. Marvel in Captain Marvel #17. What do you think?
I saw that and honestly surprised the media didn’t pick the story up. You have a teen aged Muslim girl as the new Captain Marvel. (And she is from New Jersey). When there was a Muslim Green Lantern and a Muslim Batman Inc. character introduced the media went nuts. Marvel has a pr problem in getting the hype out on this one.
