I love a good deal. I will pick up a ton of comics if they are a dollar or less. I also love to look for ideas on things to sell that i can get cheap and sell at a profit. I will travel around to different comics shops, and scour the internet for a deal.
Things from Another World has a sale going on where they are selling recent back issues for 60 % off and 70 % off. The also have variants for 50 % off.
Some of the highlights of the 70 % off are the Eaglemoss Classic Marvel Figure Magazines that come with the 3 1/2 inch figures, Constrictor for $4 and Black Widow figure for $3.60. Check recent eBay closings and you will see these sell for more than you would pay. Also are the Batman Vehicle magazine with Diecast cars in display which sell on eBay for $13-$20 dollars. There are also the DC Superhero Chess figures that sell for $7-$20 on sale for $4.80.
Not to mention, Issues of the Walking Dead for .89 cents as well as issues of Todd The Ugliest Kid for .89 cents.
All in all, it is worth digging through the sale to see what you can fill your collection with, as well as flip.

What a great sale. It’s like browsing the $1 bin at your LCS from the comfort of your home. I picked up some black science #1, east of west, saga, five ghosts, and a few other marvel/DC readers last week. Wish I had known about the free shipping, but it was still a good score.
Nice, Midtown just had a similar type of sale as well. I was able to snag 3 x Walking Dead #115 Blank Variant Cover L for about $5, I actually tried to get more but apparently they only had 3 left in stock. It wasn’t on sale but I also snagged the Black Science #1 Blank Variant.
These types of sales are nice if you want to double up on some recent issues (to flip or keep) for really cheap prices.
Hah, I hit up the midtown sale as we’ll and picked up some back issues for 40% off. Gotta love these year end sales. Late Christmas gifts for myself…
Nice, my 5 year old begged me the last time we were at the LCBS for My Little Pony Micro Series #1 (of 6) Twilight Sparkle Comicfolio which is $39.99 but with this sale at TFAW, I picked it up at a nice $11.99 price. Can’t beat that!
