Umbral let me down. #1 was interesting but it seemed #2 spent way too much time showing them being chased, I lost interest quickly which prompted me to drop it from my pull list this past week. Was #3 any better?
I almost dropped it this week but did pick up #3. It just isn’t my kind of book but usually do four issues before I drop, unless I hate it from the start like SHOOT First from Dark Horse.
I’m the same, I usually go 4-5 issues but I really lost interest, more than half the book was just the girl and old man running and bickering to one another.
I was disappointed in SHOOT as well.. I was hoping it was going to be good but it got dropped after #2 as well. I almost didn’t pick up #2 but gave it one more chance.
I dropped Umbral after #1 😛 Yea, I realized that early that it isn’t my cup of tea.
