Image comics is proud to announce that the new series, released this past week, The Wicked + The Divine, has sold out. The book by Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie has moved its entire print run through Diamond Comics distributor.
Remember, just because a book sells out at the distributor level does not mean you will not be able to find copies at your local comic shop. It means once the books are gone, no additional copies will be able to be ordered.
had nine covers, including two regular covers, the Bryan Lee O’Malley variant, an Eh! Variant, and other covers (Newsbury, Beach Ball, Jetpack, Dcbs). The total print run for the book was 53,000 copies which seems on par for new Image first issues.

Is this print run spread out over all these covers or just for the regular covers A & B.
Should be all the covers.
You guys think its worth getting signed and slabbed?
I wouldn’t, not yet at least. It’s a bigger print run, it’s only on it’s first issue and it could easily fizzle away with popularity after a few issues. Spending the money to slab might result in you spending more than it’s actually worth.
Yea. I opted to slab a Nailbiter #1 SS series sketch instead. I like the book enough to keep it if it fizzles out.
Matt you are the SS slabbing king
Never pass up a chance for a yellow label.
Haha. Those are actually the first SS I’ve done personally. I got three Manifest Destiny 1 (one a sketch variant with Minotaur hand sketch), nailbiter and Thor: God of Thunder 1 variant (Esad Ribic). Solid lineup this weekend at Heroes con. Failed to get a Kevin Eastman signature, but that line was brutal. Looked for an Avengers 57 to have Roy Thomas sign, but they were all overpriced.
Eastman is coming to the Capitol City Comic Con in July, I’m willing to bet that line will be long here as well.
