    TMNT Animated #16 (Don’t laugh, I love me some Turtles. I originally picked these up for the kids, they grew tired of them, now I’m picking them up for me. )

    Superior Foes of Spider-Man #16 (What I think is still one of the most underrated Marvel titles out there. Good stuff, entertaining and hilarious).

    Evil Empire #6 (Really enjoying this. If you like political with a side of twisted sickness, it’s good)
    Jim Hensons Storyteller Witches #2 (It’s Jim Henson and the art is very cool)
    Wilds End #2 (I expect a little more action this issue)

  2. Wytches is amazing! The two Wytches stories are focusing on the darkness within humanity crossed with a Blair Witch vibe. This could make an excellent horror franchise.

      1. Yeah, I skimmed through it but decided not to pick up to keep my weekly/monthly pulls limited. This week was nice and small again, unlike last week. Looks like next week is another small week for me and nice on my wallet.

      2. I loved Sabrina, very dark, very Lovecraftian! It was awesome. Wytches was just scary. The back matter where he retells a story from his child hood was even good! This is going to be an awesome franchise.

      4. It would. For a while I was spending around $100 a week on comics. I’ve been getting it down to like $50 range. Yay for me, not so yay for LCBS! 🙂

  4. I’m getting Manifest and TMNT. I ordered the Hulk 7 Deadpool variant. Hulk 340 was one of my favorite covers growing up! got some Enormous in the mail (#2-4).

  6. I found 2x Enormous B&W #1 Phantoms and Enormous #4 bright and early. Slow week for me otherwise so I poured through the back issues and found 4x The Damnation of Charlie Wormwood, 2x Southern Dogs, 1x Letter 44 phantom, and Hickman’s S.H.I.E.L.D. #1-6 – all for $1 each. I’m still waiting on Day Men, Jupiter’s Legacy, and Mythopolis to magically appear on the rack…

    1. I got all 4 covers of the first issue of Mythopolis straight from the source. I’m not sure what value is? Anyone?

      2. Yeah. One local shop threw their remaining #1’s in the 50 cent bin they have where they got all beat up. I picked up all 4 issues long ago, been sitting on them since hoping they pick up some steam, which sadly isn’t going to happen unless they actually release a #2 or more.

    2. Saving money for the Portland Retro Video Game Convention next weekend. Got my copy of Pitfall! signed by the creator David Crane last year.

  11. nycc was SO CRAZY, i got back to Miami yesterday, good thing i pre order because there was no way i was driving to a comic book store today, remember, im in Miami, the place with NOT A SINGLE DECENT COMIC BOOK STORE 🙁
    the Wytches NYCC haunt left me exhausted!! scored 1 Thursday, 2 Friday, 2 Saturday, NONE sunday! they were selling only 20 on Sunday, i was number 21 on the line, and the 20 ahead of me all exhibitors that were online before the con open…….FURIOUS

    1. I was about 30th in line Sunday. I don’t want to say how,any I got over the week but I scored huge on wytches. It paid for my trip. I was talking to a couple of guys out of line on Sunday and no one was happy. Here is the odd thing. There were 500 printed. 125 each day. Why were there only 20 on sale sunday? What happened to the other 105?

      1. Well, knowing how crowded and crazy these conventions can get, one could only imagine some lifted these with 5 finger discounts. Sad but most likely true.

      2. For example they gave me one the first day after they sold out, so probably that happen a lot, plus Thursday exhibitors were allowed 5 copies each!

      1. LOL, I did that on Thursday, got in like an hour before doors open but nobody wanted to sell me anything until doors open for good except the nice people from 215 ink!!!!

      2. I was furious cause they were giving copies to exhibitors, if that last day I didn’t got any but all of them were purchased by regular attendees I wouldn’t have been upset at all! You know how many friends ask me for that book?
