Godkiller Walk Among Us from Black Mask Studios to be turned into an Animated Trilogy.
From Deadline:
Godkiller, the post-apocalyptic comic series from Black Mask Studios, is hurtling toward the screen as a new trilogy of animated features that will be self-financed and produced by the upstart publisher and transmedia co. The saga of a teenage orphan and an escaped slavegirl journeying through a post-apocalyptic wasteland first debuted in 2008 as a self-published underground comic that cultivated a devoted cult following. The comic is now heading into its second printing after debuting last week via Black Mask Studios.
There was an original self published book that came out in 2008. There was also an experimental video released in 2010.
Godkiller Walk Among Us can still be found in stores even though it has sold out at the distributor level.
Several Variants were released for the new version of the comic, including:
An Ultra Rare Variant limited to 25 copies
A Phantom Variant featuring art by Riley Rossmo
A Godkiller Hastings Variant
Beach Ball comics variant is cool too – I bought that one
Glad I picked up a couple copies.
Picked up one of these. Cover B. Saw an interesting one listed though, the Beach Ball Tattoo variant.
The above link to the Ultra Rare variant does not have a print run of 25?? It is the Jetpack/Larry comics and has a print run of 60.Still not too shabby though!!
My apoligies. I went by what different auctions said but thank you for the clarification
According to the creative team, the Beach Ball Tattoo variant is the ultra rare one – 25 copies.

Should be one left on ebay if you are quick.
25 of the tattoo arm and 200 of the better-looking cover (in my opinion)
Looks like there’s 4 on ebay. At 25 a pop that’s not bad for a variant limited to only 25 copies
They re-listed 4 more and more of the better cover too…
GodKiller already has an animated feature which can be seen on YouTube I’ve only seen the first 15-20 minutes or so but it seems to be an exact replica of the comic book down to the art except in animated version, first issue is definitely there, I stopped watching exactly where the first ends as I wanted to read the book first before watching this animation.
It was an experimental self produced animated short. Thats not what they are talking about here
