Drafted picked up for movie deal

Devil’s Due Productions comic ‘Drafted’ has been picked up by Benderspink Productions (who are also working on the Five Ghosts series for Syfy.)
From Deadline:

Benderspink Productions has locked a long-in-the-making deal to develop Mark Powers’ critically acclaimed comic series Drafted. The sci-fi epic feature project will follow the story of Earth’s first contact with aliens who arrive to warn humanity of an impending intergalactic invasion. Men, women, and children are conscripted into the battle to save both races’ existence, but just as the invaders are defeated, humans learn they may have been helping the wrong side all along.

Copies of Drafted #1 quickly sold on eBay. There are still copies available though.
Mycomicshop has many of the 2007 still in stock for about $1 each. Also for about $1 is the 2007 Preview Issue, the 2008 FCBD issue, and the 2009 One Hundred Days #0 which features President Obama.
I am sure these can be found in the wild. It seems like a low cost gamble.
