      1. I’m pulling both titles (Grindhouse and Bitch Planet). Bitch Planet was a little “agenda” heavy but it was a good issue. It didn’t seem like the typical title the mainstream comic book buyer would stick around for but who knows. There’s always that drop off from new number ones, I’m curious how many people stick around.

    1. Yeah, it wasn’t bad. The hype is due more because of the writer than anything else I think. I don’t see this one as one to flip though, it would be long term value if anything else comes out of it. If it’s going to maintain steam though, I hope she doesn’t plan to do the same release pattern with this one as she does with Pretty Deadly, only 6 issues a year or so from what I read. Doing 6 issues and then being absent for 6-8 months just makes people like me lose interest. (You reading this Mark Millar?) ๐Ÿ˜‰

      1. Some of the independent books drive you nuts. The irregular release schedules…. I guess a lot will depend on sales going forward. If it really is a smash hit then it will probably be prioritized and we’ll see it frequently, if not, well…..

        1. This is why I love BKV. He seems to dedicate and solely focus on one project at a time (Saga currently) and the quality shows when writers and artists focus instead of likely overwhelming themselves with too many and multiple projects, etc. Too many projects, you see work degraded in a way.. where it could be better but likely not since the writer or artist is overwhelmed with too much.
