Vin Diesel is pretty good at dropping hints at his upcoming projects. He has been very vocal that he wants to do more in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With that, he dropped the following image on his face book page:
Rumor has it he is in talks to play Black Bolt.
According to Comicbook.com he tweeted this back a while ago:
Vin Diesel posted an image of Groot to his Facebook page, along with the text, “Vin and Marvel… you all made it happen! I get the strange feeling that Marvel thinks I’m Inhuman… Haha.”
Black Bolt first appeared in Fantastic Four #45.
Do you think FF #45 is going to stick as Black Bolt’s 1st app and best comic or is FF#46 going to end up being the bigger book as his 1st full app? Both comics have been exploding since the SDCC. If Vin Diesel is going to be Black Bolt, Gorgon is going to need to be played by someone freakishly massive, that usually ends badly.
You know. I went back and forth on which was his “first appearance” he is listed indifferent sites as either 45 or 46. Marvel had his as 45 and that’s what I stuck with. This cameo/first full can be a killer and can cost money in the end depending on what the community decides is his first appearance.

I hope he’s not Black Bolt.. Oh please don’t let him be Black Bolt! I love Black Bolt.. Vin Diesel not so much. He’s perfect for Groot.. he says 3 words and you never see him since his character is CGI created..
