  1. Stacks upon stacks at the local shops this week. It’s Millar, his only goal is to make movies, not even sure why he bothers with comics nowadays.. 😉

      1. Well, book just came out too.. that just means he’s presenting these stories to studios way ahead of them being released as well.. they just wait until the comic is released before announcement.

      1. It has now been confirmed that 20th Century Fox has optioned Mark millar’s 5th grade poetry assignment
My Dog Barky, Ridley Scott set to direct, Jim Carey set to star. They are looking at this as a franchise and have committed to a 3 picture deal.

  2. I just want to make a comic company called optioned comics and only have them optioned for movies tv or video games lol anyone else this is a smart move lol

  3. Being a speculator, I’ve been wondering if making/announcing media deals the week of a books release is either a marketing move to sell that issue #1; or it doesn’t but hurts the comic for collector’s in the long run. If the comic is a hot property in its infancy, how does that effect it in the long run…?

    1. And since this comic is already planned out for 3 series, 4-6 issues each, are we to be waiting 4 or more years for the finished compilation ?

  4. Yeah that’s why I stopped buying Mark Millar books. I was readding MPH wich was good but only made it to issue 3 of the 5 mini series before I got fead up with the schedule release date. It got me of the mood of reading it. That book came out early last year and issue 5 just came out last month. And I bet they are going to do the same thing with this chrononauts series.
