The Diamond Comics Advance Reorder List is a great speculator tool. It shows what books retailers are going back to get more of, in advance of their release. They are actually putting their money up betting these books get big. These are the books people are talking about in shops, message boards, and websites. More reprints, of course this means more sold out books, and lots of Star Wars. Star Wars is Marvel’s biggest, hottest, and quickest heating up line ever. Terry Hoknes has mentioned that even in print Dark Horse TPB’s have been removed from Diamond’s catalog, so Marvel is locking down this franchise.

I actually shed a tear when i saw no 6th print for edge of the spiderverse 2, My local shop has around 10 copies of Darth Vader 3 just….sitting there…. have a feeling I should go pick them up,
I’d pick up a few of them, but I’ve been hearing a lot of people saying that they are having trouble moving them! I’m sitting on 6 of them and I’m not sure why at the moment.
Because it was a shipping/printing goof on Marvel/Diamonds fault. These are not hard to get.. the panic was just people wanting them immediately. My LCS got the remaining ones a week later and are sitting on them as well. I’m predicting it’s still around 100k print run for #3..
i think everyone is just waiting for ….a hint of her being in a movie, but realistically, they can be resold for cover price, so i pick up as many as i can for everything
If you buy at cover and sell at cover, what’s the point? Unless you are buying for less than cover, you’re just wasting your time and if you’re using eBay to sell, you have to think about eBay fees, etc, then your just losing money.
I hate sitting on inventory.
Yeah, there are times I’ll buy a few extra to sit on and to gamble with but if I’m buying a bunch to flip (ex. Spider-Gwen #1 Phantom), I’m doing it to make some profit immediately.
