The cat is out of the bag that Snake Eyes is set to die in GI Joe #214. Would have loved to have had this as a surprise like TMNT #44. I think ComicXposure will sell these on their website.
I talked to The guys earlier (can’t make it to the show but trying to secure a copy for myself and as a giveaway). They said if there are any left over they would. But at the price point he is talking I doubt there will be many left after the convention.

No kidding! Good thing they will probably re-emerge within a year or so when another sales hit is needed.
Any idea idea what the print run is on these? I will get one for my collection but not sure if it is worth it to get extras if the print run is going to be huge.
On these, honestly it could be anywhere from 250-1500
The other seller on eBay that was selling these claimed a print run of 2000.

Yeah, who knows though until ComicXposure releases such info. I take what people post in their eBay auctions with a grain of salt. I see variants listed all the time with the wrong ratio information… 🙁
What makes this a “NYC Special”? I know it’s a RE (Retailer Exclusive), is it limited to NYC stores? The info I got is a print of 1200 (though this is from an Ebay seller).
Special Edition NYC is the name of the convention. It’s like a NYCC variant but this one is call Special Edition NYC variant
