Batman #40 is a bonafide hit. THe issue features the alleged death of Batman and The Joker.
Batman #40 sold out before release. The second print has done the same thing. Now the third print is already on its way before the release of the third print.
Tfaw has copies of Batman #40 first prints back in stock for less than cover price.
Can’t imagine they will last long.

id expect this to go to a 5th print, im HOPING they do what they did for the original 4th print variants (when an issue hit a 4th print in the new 52), where it was a black and white cover, not many new 52 stuff made it to a 4th print so itll be interesting to see if this happens
