They have all been big weeks for me. Sales have been slow on eBay. So I need to move some books to make room for new ones.
Yeah, I’ve bought plenty to hopefully sell but yeah, ebay sales do seem slow. I can’t seem to move some more Batman #40s….
I havent moved any. I keep getting low ball offers on my set. I have a set up of Batman 40 regular, 1:25, Mask Variant, combo pack, and Newsstand and people keep offering $50…. Thats what the set cost to put together!!!!
I sold an initial reg cover and movie cover for about $25, another auction ended at like $16 for both covers.. than nothing after that..
Yea ebay been real dry this week..I think cause mothers day should pick up this week I.hope
Break out the batman 40s…..people selling sets are losing money big time.

Got $30 per on those Batman #40 and my retailer hooks them up for 27% below cover and my pull made sure I gots 10 copies. You need to get does post up fast sons! EBay be pop’n when you know da system
I wonder if it has anything to do with people pre-selling. I never pre-sell anything (just incase), and I find that come Wed. market is flooded and you can only get a fraction of what they were selling on many of the titles. Batman 40, I have not sold one and the offers I have received are crap offers, under cover price. But this week has been a real slow week for me with only 1 sale, a Mutanimals set.
Yea you have to be real careful with that too. Did that on the Boba Fett variants and ended up having to wait a month before I could have any issues to ship..Not sure what the regular presellers do, maybe cancel a lot of orders on people?
I ordered some of the Boba Fett variants and they just came in, listed them and I’m only getting low offers. I have ordered from people who all of a sudden didn’t have the comics they listed, or they were “damaged” while being packaged so on and so fourth. That’s why I don’t pre-sell, because you just don’t know.
i found a first print of divinity 1 at my lcs for cover. I assume a subscriber gave it back from his pull stack. same thing happened a while back with lady killer 1. I love when this happens.
also, is anyone having problems redeeming their digital codes from marvel? this is driving me crazzzyyyyy.

Deep State #6 Hopefully, my shop has yet to get a copy of Deep State on time. They’ve been shorted on EVERY SINGLE issue. I had to deal with a 2nd printing one time but I usually get my copy 1 to 2 weeks late. It’s kind of ridiculous.
Rebels #2 I thought the first issue was a little slow. Since it’s only a mini series I’ll probably stick with it but i’m hoping it picks up a bit with this 2nd issue.
One local shop was shorted (invoiced and charged, received none) on the Five Ghosts Special. Another shop only had about 6 copies and they were all badly damaged (lower left corners look like they were crumpled up).
Anyone else have issues getting Five Ghosts Special? Was one for sure I was looking forward to.

I ordered one from Midtown just in case my local shop doesn’t get theirs in. The others were so badly damaged, I can see those going to their 50 cent bin quickly after no one buys them.
The one shop I went to had a small stack, maybe 5-7, all in good condition as far as I could tell.
Expensive week. I just know I’m going to get “that look” from the significant other when she sees this weeks stack… Oh well, I usually just tell her it’s either this or black tar heroin… take your pick.

Haha.. my wife once stared at the amount of comics accumulating at the beginning.. I told her the same thing, I could have worse habits, like a drug habit.. I also told her if I die, at least she can make money off the collection, it’s not like I’m buying worthless crap to hoard. 🙂
Yeah, yeah you know what about Chrononauts? I picked up the Back to the Future variant today. Huge pile of number 1’s but only 2 Back to the Future variants on the shelf.
It is a good fun read. People might be burnt out on the Millar hype machine but it is a good story.

I didn’t get a chance to get to the shop today, work has gone nuts but will hopefully be able to pop in tomorrow to see what’s left, mainly on going for me so no biggie.
I do have a question which I’d like to put to the brains trust here, if that’s ok, please disregard if it’s not the place for it. Basically, pressing, has anyone done it, where, what were the results like and anywhere you’d recommend?
Particularly keen to here from anyone from the uk, but I would be willing to post to the US. Only place I can see that does it here is asylum comics, in Wigan I think, and they send it off to ccs for £45 a pop.
I have a marvel super-heroes 13 that has some moderately serious waveage but appart from that is pretty good. If it could be sorted out it would be a solid fn+, maybe even vfn-.
Anyway, any advice would be greatly appreciated, and if this the wrong place please feel free to come by and roeshambo me…

Thanks Anthony. Nope not really, not seen anyone that does it over here in the UK, just that place that sends it over to the US for £45. Would be interested to here if anyone has had any great results or could recommend anywhere. Have you had any pressing done?

Finally picked up my books from the past 3 weeks. Been slaving at work. I thought I was going to pay big $ but only paid $120 including some lightsaber chopsticks for everyone in the family. I was all like “thank you JESUS!!!” I guess those slow weeks really paid off lol.
If you were going to let some books accumulate then the last couple of weeks were good weeks for it. Seems like most people’s pulls were down.
