A store variant done right, right off the bat. I got an email from Hall of Comics, they are launching their first variant cover, and they really hit a home run with this one.

That’s awesome…. the front of these action figure variants been bringing back memories but the back of this one really brought back more memories. I use to cut keep the backs to know which figures I still needed, some had stats and such about character….. totally awesome since I was a huge GI Joe figure collector back as a child.
And I just purchased two of them….

There was an 80s sized hole in my heart that I never knew existed until I read about this cover. I’d written off the AF variant thing as a craze until now. This, this makes more sense than my marriage.
The Star Wars ones make sense too, but this one is sweet.
