Agent Chu Mini-bust Kickstarter

Agent Poyo contacted me this morning about it. Poyo loves Chew.
Skeleton Crew Studio LLC has started a Kickstart campaign to raise more funds for the Tony Chu Mini-Bust. I know the last Chew mini-bust they had, the Agent Poyo mini-bust, sold out quick and was reaching the $300 mark on ebay, easy flip material who those that don’t want to keep these magnificent statues.

Tony Chu is a cibopath, a father, a husband, a former traffic cop and the most badass gum-shoeing, dog-chewing, fast-pitching federal agent around. He deserves to be on your shelf. This campaign is to launch an officially-licensed Tony Chu mini-bust from the wildly popular comic book “CHEW” by John Layman and Rob Guillory, published by Image Comics.
Tony is designed by Israel Skelton and Rob Guillory, sculpted by Derek Hallett, and stands just over 7 inches tall. He’s in scale with the sold-out Poyo mini-bust the studio produced last year.
Tony’s emerging from a can of beets with a label designed by Rob with plenty of “CHEW”-y nods on the back (“Instructions: Open container. Throw directly into trash. Seriously. Why would you ever think of eating this? Ew.”)
For the campaign, we’re offering rewards like a campaign-exclusive plush Chog (beet red with a pink belly), Skype sessions with John, Rob and Israel, and the Ultimate CHEW Pack: One of everything “CHEW” Skelton Crew Studio has ever released, including anything sold out, in a matching number set WITH a never-before-released — and won’t be released — FDA badge that only exists in prototype form.
We love doing what we do at the studio and we’d love your help bringing Tony to life.
Thanks!
The Crew

  1. Also, I heard the retail value of these when they go on sale outside of the kickstarter will be $75 + shipping. Through the kickstarter, you can get them for $58 + shipping. Best time to lock one in for a slight discounted price.
