Agent Poyo had this as his top pick of the week. He does get things right from time to time. But don’t tell him that, it will go to his head. There was a clear winner this Wednesday, it was Mad Max Fury Road Nux and Immortal #1.
Mad Max Fury Road Nux and Immortal #1 sold out quickly. It seems to be really under ordered, from talking to retailers. A lot of people skipped over it as it was a tie in to a movie. (I am dying to see the movie too.)
Prices shot up on Mad Max Fury Road Nux and Immortal #1 to about $20 plus in some cases.

Is Mad Max a flipper or a keeper?
I called one of my LCS yesterday and they had a bunch. I put 2 copies on hold and picked them up today. They had raised the price to $20 a copy. Glad I was able to reserve mine.
What? I got another spec right? I better go buy some lotto tickets….. 😉

I saw the movie on Friday. I thought it was excellent…and I wasn’t really a huge fan of the original. And I managed to snag two copies of the comic. All in all a pretty good holiday weekend so far. 🙂
Good job in first picking Mad Max for speculation! Other websites missed this comic except for Dakoit and comicbookscalping which reported later. Comic speculation is subjective and people often disagree. But sometimes, unexpected hits are the best picks.
