Agent Poyo's Picks of the week for delivery 5/27/15

It’s a little wet here in Austin, my little girl turns 7 today (she also said I must pick her up some extra comics today for her birthday) but it’s also the best damn day of the week. New Comic Book Wednesday!
Let’s get on with the picks..
Fight Club 2 #1 (Dark Horse) – Duh! It’s Fight Club. If you’re not picking it up, well, get on outta here already, what are you doing here anyways?
Sons of the Devil #1 (Image) – From a bestselling writer, be sure to pick this one up or at least check it out. I’m sure Tony is the biggest horror fan but I love me some horror as well. Cults are right up that alley, especially when it involves family. We all know how crazy family can be. This one has some slick covers as well.
Providence #1 of 12 (Avatar) – The first Avatar book I’m picking up since Caliban and Rover Red Charlie. Alan Moore work that has been in the works for quite some time. No ads, 32 pages of just fine writing and detailed artwork that Burrows spent the last 2 years mastering apparently from the descriptions I’ve read. Of course, in Avatar style there are a nice handful of covers to choose from as well.
Divinity #4 (Valiant) – The last of the 4 issue mini-series. These have recently heated up. Even #2 and #3 are selling above cover price at times. So pick it up, try to find the other back issues, read it.. flip it.. but honestly, it’s a good read. It’s probably my favorite Valiant comic currently, it’s too bad it’s a mini-series. It’s certainly a character and story they could continue with in another series or ongoing.
That’s it.. and let’s hope the no raining weather holds up so all my comics tomorrow don’t get washed away! I’m not complaining though, we’ve been pretty much in a drought for the past 5 years.
