The good Dr. David Tennant will play Mason Savoy in the upcoming Chew Animated Project.
From The Hollywood Reporter:
David Tennant, best known for his long-running gig as one of the doctors in BBC cult hit Doctor Who, has joined the voice cast of Chew, the animated feature adaptation of the popular comic from Image Comics, taking over for a part that was originally going to be filled by Robin Williams.
Tennant is voicing Mason Savoy, the detective’s mentor-turned-villain.
Mason Savoy first appears in Chew #1, which goes for about $450 in graded 9.8 condition.

Thief of Thieves is long over due. Chew seems to be in the works. I have a CBCS 9.8 Chew #1 which I thought would actually come back higher.

Yeah I doubt it will happen. I wish they would announce the option has expired on things after the announce the options were placed.

Although I must say, Andy Diggles is doing a great job writing it currently.. I almost dropped it but he kept me onboard with the comic. I actually like his writing in it better than Kirkman’s.
Nice!! Did not know Robin Williams was originally cast….the only Chew book I’m missing, #1 1st print. Will never sell my Chew’s!!!
