Wrestling star and pop culture icon Roddie Piper dead at age 61.
While I am not a wrestling fan, I did briefly watch it as a kid. I was a fan on the movie, They Live. Awesome film.
Reports are Piper died of a heart attack at home. Piper had previously beat Hodgin’s Lymphoma.
Oh my, I loved “They Live” as well… so cheesy but yet so good!
It’s actually one of the deepest movies produced to date.

Rest in peace. Sad that pro wrestlers don’t seem to live long. Roddy was one of the most popular wrestlers in past decades.
He rocked. He was known for his explosive 10 second victories.
So Sad to hear this, I was really looking forward to meeting him next week here at my local comic con. Hot Rod will always be one of the coolest wrestling villains.
