  1. I think it would be awesome is someone willing to do some research could post their updated findings on past optioned books for TV or movies. Thief of Thieves would be a good start. May the hunt/posts begin.

    Probably no back issues as my LCSs just don’t carry back issues. I have managed to score quite a few 4-packs lately containing All-New Marvel Now! Point One #1 (1st and 2nd prints) as well as one copy of the ASM #4 Ramos variant. But all my extra income has gone to the flagstone patio I’ve been doing in my backyard. Almost finished…

    Forbidden Planet are doing a variant cover which is the last four doctors in a homage to Queen Bohemian Rhapsody. Being British I of course would never seek to publicly disagree with anyone but I think young Mr Mel should have chosen this as his Variant of the week, Sci-Fi series with worldwide popularity, rock band homage cover, signed by Paul Cornell as a bonus

    Might have to drop most of the DC titles, doesn’t look like my local shop is stocking the newsstand copies anymore, they seemed to stop at 40. Shame, got a nice percentage off on them, but to be honest, I did start falling off around the Forever Evil timeframe, and they’re kind of stacking up. I will probably continue to only buy/order Batman and Suicide Squad.
    Pre-ordered some Star Wars FASE/Deadpool v Thanos Retailer Summit covers as well…

    1. Howard the Duck 5 (Glad its coming back after Secret Wars with the same team)
    2. Inhumans: New Attilian Rising 4 (Does Black Bolt have no powers at all in this series?)
    3. Secret Wars 5 (It cant be said enough, this event is so so so good. Can’t remember the last time a series has hooked me this hard)
    4. Secret Wars 2099 4 (meh, im committed through the rest of the mini series at this point. Wish they focused more on the individual characters of the 2099 Avengers though)
    5. Descender 6 (best image title out right now in my opinion)
    6. Walking Dead 145 (I didn’t think any of the deaths last issue were that big of deal)
    7. Batman 43 (duh. and new villain. duh duh)
    8. Swords of Sorrow 4 (never read Dynamite comics before. its a good overview of the characters)
    9. Bloodshot Reborn 5 (didn’t come out last week at any of my shops)

    2. Ezekial and rosita were pretty important. The others not a much. Remember, ezekial and michonne were a thing and rosita was pregnant with not Eugene baby

      1. wait who got rosita pregnant then? i know shes been in the series for a while, but shes always seemed like kind of a background character to me. and ezekial was very exciting when he was first introduced, but i feel like he hasn’t done much since then. SPOILERS: i just didn’t have the same reaction to their deaths that i did to people like glenn or Maggie (when i thought she had been poisoned)

      2. and one of the heads looked like michonne at first, which would have been huge. obviously that wasn’t the case

      3. It’s so far unrevealed. Eugene said he’d raise the child and didn’t want to know whose it was. I’m sure it will come out now that she’s dead.

  11. I got issues ## 1-24 of the original Eclipse Miracleman prints this week. Cost me a pretty penny, but I’m happy. I can’t wait for Marvel to finish their reprints and get on to Gaiman’s unprinted stories.

    Other than that, my pull list is:

    Dark Horse:

    Harrow County #4: For my money, this is a far better story than Wytches already.

    Drifter #7: I’m glad this book made it to a second arc. More questions abound, though!
    Starve #3: I can’t get enough of this demented drunken homosexual Anthony Bourdain!

    Marvel:

    Inhumans: Attilan Rising #4: I want to know why Black Bolt can speak normally in this book.
    Master of Kung Fu #4: This has been a pretty great series and I can’t wait to read this conclusion! It’s been like a mini kung-fu movie in comic book form. Very mythic feeling.
    Secret Wars #5: It’s Doom’s law to pull this.
    Secret Wars 2099 #4: I don’t feel like a lot is happening in this book. Kind of a disappointment.
    Secret Wars: Battleworld #4: I Love these little vignettes. The Wolverine story last month was just the best. Not to mention the M.O.D.O.K. story in #1…
    Star Wars: Lando #2: I mean, I pull all the Star Wars titles, but this scoundrel is of particular interest.

    Then CHU always has me speccing on SOMETHING:

    Batman and Bombshells. Why not. People went crazy over Batman 40. Why not this?

  13. Random question. With Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Starting at issue 45a, do you think the redlines are going to spell out a word,seems like they connect with 46a, 47a, etc….

  14. Finally got around to opening up the handful of copies of of Sex Criminals #11 I had ordered. Was striking out on all copies until I got to the very last one… and boom… dick sketch. Probably haven’t been that happy to see a crudely drawn dirty picture since my college days when I drew one on the face of a blacked out roommate.

    Kind of a quiet day at the stores. Didn’t seem to be as many customers as usual…

    1. They couldn’t sustain the number of sales they needed to continue. They started off with a bang and like apt of new products people jumped on it but being you can go month to month some months didn’t sell as well as others.
