I felt the same about FEAR The Walking Dead. The actors aren’t that great either, I hope most of them die soon.
Lol. And then what? New characters or just zombies roaming around. I would like a walking dead show from the zombie perspective
Well, introduce a new family.. But you know, since they’re in LA, can we at least get a scene where zombies are eating the Jenner/Kardashian family.. now that’s newsworthy, not what they’re wearing today! 😉

I have yet to watch it. Tried the other night but my son woke up and came downstairs and was horrified by it.
I’ve got it recorded, but I had set the DVR to record it before I knew it was a prequel. Now that, combined with the bad reviews, and I’m not sure I’m going to bother to watch it.
I’ve never been a big fan of prequels. I like seeing more stories based in these universes, but only stories running parallel or in the future of the main.
Besides, that was one of the coolest things about TWD, the way it started. The audience/readers learning along with Rick. Every other zombie story out there shows the outbreak, why bother?
Better than him catching you and the wife doing other things that parents seldom do. 😛

Yes, the actors suck. Now if there were some oiled up Kardashian ass eating going on, that would definately interest me. Would be funny if they threw a celeb in the mix, sort of like Bill Murray in Zombieland. Though in reality, from the amount of plastic surgery in Cali and all the weed heads, so many folks would get put down! Are you a Zomb or not! Boom!
Well, I’ll start off by saying I am a big fan of Image and specific writer/artists these days and mostly avoid the big two. Don’t get much of a chance to hit the LCS on Wednesdays, so I usually order via Midtown on a monthly basis (gets me that 15% discount and free shipping with $75+ order). This is what I have on order for this week:
– New MGMT 1 (missed out on the Series, but curious on this one shot – if I like, I may go back and try to get the series – or the TPB, Really like Matt Kindt’s work on Rai)
– East Of West 20 (Johnathan Hickman fan all the way)
– Low 9 (a little hard to follow at times, but enjoyable no less)
– Spread 9 (Lonewolf and Cub fan from back in the day – this brings back the memories)
– Fall of Ninjak 1 (haven’t been following regular Ninjak series, but once again its Matt Kindt’s

I am a Lone Wolf and Cub fan as well. Have some of the old movie posters from Japan (reproductions I am sure even through they weren’t sold that way). But like you I mostly stay away from the big two.

1. ant man: last days 1 (great series. glad its coming back after secret wars)
2. hank Johnson: agent of hyrdra 1 (looks hilarious)
3.modok assassin 4 (I had never really read anything with modok until this series. I find him delightful. I hope he appears somewhere after secret wars)
4. Harley Quinn 19 (this joke is getting old)
5. east of west 20 (hickman can do no wrong)
6. low 9 (super slow burn. but I love it)
7. spread 9 (still hoping for the real action figures from this series)
8. pussycats 4 (I started this series with the 0 issue, because that issue got hot on ebay and the idea of a pornstar comic seemed very appealing to me. boy was I wrong. this is possibly the worst comic series I have ever read. it’s mind numbingly awful and makes no sense. im only getting this issue because its the last in the series and im a completist)
side note: has any one else noticed that dr. octopus keeps getting killed off in the secret wars tie ins? by my count, hes been killed in modok, renew your vows, and 1872. is this a coincidence? is it an inside joke at marvel? could it mean something more? anyone else notice any other books hes died in? just curious
Nope. You are not the only one with Pussycats. I have been reading it to. Sold some of the 0 issues but the rest have been stagnant.
Doc Ock has also been shown dead on the Marvel Zombies covers. So that may count as well.
Dying & the Dead #3 is scheduled for release next week.. so it’s not canceled, at least not yet! Yay!

I’m pretty sure I bought all of the shelf copies from two local shops of the first print 🙂 but to be fair I only kept one, the rest were gifts.
One shop I visited had some but they were not in great shape. Also, I wasn’t that enticed since they used the same cover as the first print.
Yeah that did sucked. I thought they where going to do something different since it’s a 2nd print and it’s mininions. So thay sucked.

Didn’t know what your thoughts were about defenders 28 going up with guardians of Galaxy 2. I am a new guy but have been hearing rumors about star hawk being star lords father in the second movie. Didn’t know if if anyone has heard anything. They are going under $100 on eBay
From what I heard and read, the writer and director for guardians of the galaxy where thinking about it but then decided not to put his dad in the 2nd movie. Whether that’s still stand, I am not sure haven’t heard anything since earlier in the year.
