Each week hundreds of new comics hit the shelves, each with potential. We pick the ones we think have the best shot at heating up. Here are our picks of the week for delivery 9/30/15:
Baltimore was crazy, didn’t spend all my money though, had to look forward to Wednesday for that.
The Slow Burn
Batman Annual #4– Simple, Batman books, Scott Snyder Batman books, appreciate over time. This one has the back story to what happened to Bruce Wayne after the events in Batman #44. Worth the look.
The Returning Favorites
The Disciples #4– TV Option and good story
Godzilla in Hell #3– Epic Godzilla story. The Subscription covers have been hot.
Postal #7– Potential Option and great story
Spread #10– Don’t have to say anything. You guys already know.
Never Too Late to Get on the Boat
Rick and Morty #6– These keep selling out and going back for reprints. Strong demand. Pick up first prints of all the issues if you see them.
New Image #1
From Under the Mountain #1– I have been trying to cut back on the new Image #1’s I buy but can’t pass this one up. Has that “Game of Throwns” feel.
Pick of the Week
The Chair One Shot Blank Variant– already lined up for a movie coming next year. Try finding the earlier books if you can, but here could be your movie tie in flip.
That is it for us this week. Let us know what you are spec-ing on.
I’m getting in on the Shattered Empire #1 ( Baltimore RRP ) variant, although not the most attractive cover, I still love Star Wars and books with extremely limited print numbers 🙂
On youtube, there is a trailer for Chair horror film about an innocent man struggling to escape death in prison. Perhaps, wrestling fans might want to see one of Roddy Piper’s last films?
Perhaps indeed.

Ah yeah, I meant to mention that in my own pick that it’s Roddy Piper’s last film before his departure.
Oh and even Ricky & Morty 2nd and 3rd prints are getting hard to find. Pick up any and all that you find. I picked over 3 shops today, they only had issue #6 which just hit shelves today at all 3.
So a 3rd printing of R&M #1 is worth it?
I think so. These seem to be selling above cover as well.
Cool, I think I can get that still, thanks!
