  1. Iv’e been building up a nice collection of exclusive Pop’s this year, mostly Star Wars, how can I possibly pass up on this?? πŸ™‚

  2. I find an interesting trend lately of folks purchasing items for double / triple cost on the Bay, instead of purchasing at cost from the site originally offering the product (and the product is still available ). This smugglers bounty, and niobe/untamed come to mind.

        1. We purchased a new car for my wife recently and I haggled like crazy. The finance guy said that I had got a crazy bargain. (I actually did). But he said that the happiest customers are the ones who just walk in and say I will take it with no haggle.

      1. Every time I buy a car, I don’t really need a car that bad, the current one is still running fine. So it always works in my favor. I set my terms, I set the terms on my trade in value. I tell them, meet these terms and you’re selling a car today. If you don’t meet these terms, well, your not selling a car to me today. They usually sell a car that day.. πŸ™‚

        1. I did exactly the same thing. We wanted one small SUV that had third row seating. The trim level I wanted didn’t have third row seating. They ended up selling it to me at the price I wanted to pay for the lower trim level.

          1. Nice.

Long ago, I got tired of my ’94 Camaro. The A/C didn’t work. The driver side window stopped rolling down (thank goodness for the T-Tops cause Texas summers are brutal without A/C and no window working would make it even worse) and this was a car that got almost totaled when I hit a Semi-Trailer (yeah, the Semi won that battle).

Anyways, I go to trade it in for a Honda Civic (I just wanted good gas mileage and A/C)… I tell them straight up, my Camaro has been wrecked, the A/C doesn’t work and the window won’t roll down.. I want 4k trade in.. and I want my payments to be under $300 a month, they honored it. But they kept coming back with $325 a month payments. Then got down to $310 a month. I’m like, nope, not settling until payments under $300. Finally I ask to see the sheet they’re working from. I’m like, what’s that $1500 charge? Oh, that’s the extended warranty. I’m like, this is a Honda, don’t you guys pride yourselves on reliable cars that drive a million miles? What happens when you take the extended warranty off? Oh, look at that, payments now $278 a month, you just sold yourself a car.

What took them an hour of me sitting and waiting for them to do the math took me about a minute to fix by just knocking off the unnecessary silly warranty. Yeah, never did use that warranty or need it until I traded it in for another Camaro a few years later.

  3. TOO MANY BOXES! I just bit the bullet and am getting my first loot crate in November. I’d rather have this box however. I am cheap and really don’t want to pay over $20 for these mystery boxes.

    1. They’re fun. The kids always get really excited for them and we usually lay claim to items in them amongst the family. So if you have kids, it’s good fun.
