  1. Walking Dead Wednesday, nuff said! Goddamned, Postal, Southern Bastards…
Back issue bin finds: Hack Slash #1 1st appearance, Preacher 6-10, The Boys #1 multiple copies

  2. Batman #46 – Because, it’s Batman, even if I’m not super happy about the bunny robot crusader.
Back to Future #2 – I grew up in the 80s.
Autumnlands Tooth Claw #7 – I like it.
    Birthright #11 – A great read still.
Descender #7 – Lemire is awesome and this one is still a great read.
Faster Than Light #3 – I love Sci Fi and this one is still interesting.
The Goddamned #1 – Aaron, nuff said.
Southern Bastards #12 – See above.
    Walking Dead #148 – Duh!
Avengers #1 – I’m an Avengers junkie but I still like the core team.
Hawkeye #1 – The should of just kept the last volume going, it was only a few issues in but oh well.
    Chewbacca #3 – Who doesn’t like Chewbacca?
Darth Vader #12 – One of the best Marvel reads currently and it’s Star Wars!
Secret Wars #7 – Gotta see how it’s going down in the Marvel Universe.
    Lantern City #7 – A great read.
Diesel #3 – I’m loving it, art is awesome.
Enormous #2 – Bout time Cover B made it to the shelves.
Letter 44 #21 – I love Sci Fi and yes, this one still has me reading it.

    1. Midtown listed next weeks comics (I refreshed right when it went live), tried to snag the new 451 Media “Six #1” Black and White Cover B variant and it was removed from my cart during check out. Arrghhh!

  3. This Week’s books are;

    Batman #46
Carnage #1 ( phantom variant and gold phantom variant. The gold one looks way better then the sketched one IMO)
    Lantern city #7
    Secret wars #7
    Enormous vol 2 #2 cover B (Finally!!!)
Superman American Alien #1( I wasn’t going to get it, but I read the download able previews pages and liked it. Now looking forward to see how it is played out)

  4. Enormous 2 #2b
    Batman 46
    The goddamned 1
Black bag 1 – I’m a sucker for small press..
    Darth Vader 12
Slash and burn 1 – really enjoyed Unfollowed last week. Vertigo putting out some good stuff.
    Southern Bastards 12 – obvs
    Walking dead – also obvs
    Limbo 1
    Simpsons – for my daughter
    All new wolverine 1
    Twilight children 2

But the main thing was I got a copy of WCNGH #1 for £10! So happy with that as it was sold out everywhere when it came out and I missed it, and it’s so expensive now. Have a bunch of variants but super happy to have the main cover too..

  5. the Gaddamned #1: like poyo said above, it’s Jason Aaron and that warrants a look.
Faster than Light #3: still a decent read even though it’s not my normal type of book.
Twilight Children #1 & #2: my shop was supposed to have re-orders of issue 1 in stock today. If they do, then I’m jumping on this mini series.

      1. Yeah it’s was ok.. love Gilbert Hernandez though so got #2. Thing is, it’s $4.99. For comic. That’s insane.

      2. Drgonzo1979 it is $5 but they’re all 40 pages. I haven’t actually read it then yet, but I don’t mind the extra money for extra content. But I’m with you, comics are trying to hit that’s $4.99 price point a little too quick for my liking.

      3. I just read #2, it’s actually very good. But $4.99 stick in my craw you know.. I know it’s an over size issue, but the price of comics is going up by the month, literally, by the month. I spent £40 today, on a slightly above average week, that’s like 2k a year, on new titles, excluding back issues. If my wife new that…. Ha. $4.99 is insane.

  6. Got a copy of Henchgirl #1 it’s got a little ding in the corner and got a copy of the Jessica Jones hopefully it will be in demand.

  7. Light week.

    Southern Bastards 12
    Twilight Children 2
    Descender 7
    8house 5

    Back issues:
    The Boys 1
    Butterfly 1
    CGC 9.6 Flaming Carrot 1

      1. It is kind of a cross between Madman and the Tick, but much more surreal than either. Bob Burden also wrote Mystery Men which was turned into a movie. While I got a great deal on this copy for my personal collection, I don’t think it is good spec.
