  1. Nothing too special this week I don’t think. Just the usual stuff:

    Action comics
    All new inhumans
Harleys little black book (are they all polybagged or is that just an option? )
    Midnighter
    Nailbiter
    Ninjak tpb
    Spidey
    Star wars
    Totally awesome hulk
    Robin war
    Paper girls
    Revival
    We can never go home

      1. Couldn’t find find Harley. Shop for get any. Did manage to grab green lantern. Got the inked version 🙂 I’ll call that a win.

      2. I just hit up another shop and grabbed Harley and got the pencil, so SAMESIES!!!

I grabbed two copies of Harley so I’ll be keeping the other one sealed. My plan is to wait until they dry up and then list it.

      3. And now it looks like OA is randomly inserted in some of the bags. The first reported discovery happened here in DFW at the LCS chain I frequent.

I bought 4 copies of LBB and got all 3 copies and an extra BW. Picked up one GL and got the BW as well.

  2. It’s another big week for me again:

Unfollow #2 – I’m currently reading the novel “Ready Player One” and this sort of goes along the same lines, billionaire leaving his billions to people, this one a cruel joke to see how many people are left and in the novel it’s a video game to win it all.
Black Science #18 – One of Remender’s best books so far.
Citizen Jack #2 – Surprisingly good so far.
East of West #22 – Hickman.. it’s either wicked good or just meh.. This one is still wicked good.
Humans #10 – Arc coming to a close, very good, very entertaining, yes please.
Nailbiter #18 – Like Tony, a great read.
    Paper Girls #3 – Duh!
Plutona #3 – Lemire is great, this is unique and original, so it’s a must pick up.
Revival #35 – I’m still hanging in there, more action lately and more details on some of the characters and their likely intentions.
They’re Not Like Us #10 – Still a great read even though I start to drift during the book, the end always leaves me wanting to know what comes next.
    Avengers #2 – Avengers junkie.
InHumans #1 – Gotta check it out.
Daredevil #1 – My interest in Daredevil is back after the show, I hope the comic doesn’t let me down.
Dr. Strange #3 – I’m still banking on Aaron on delivering a great read, since I have not read these yet.
Red Wolf #1 – I use to love westerns. I even read Lone Ranger, I watched western reruns on Sundays back in the day so must check out as I’m hoping it’s good.
Spidey #1 – Just a check it out, we’ll see.
    Star Wars #13 – Duh!
Vision #2 – I haven’t read this one yet but I’m hoping it’s good, as I love Vision.
We Can Never Go Home #5 – CHU favorite and a awesome read.
Commander Trill #0 – XO is still my favorite Valiant character so must pick these up as the new XO storyline with Trill is some good stuff man.. good stuff.
    Enormous #3 – Duh!

  3. This week’s books are;

Harley’s little black book #1 ( for the wife)
Paper Girls #3 ( it’s a must. Book has me hooked)
Spidey #1 ( the ASM didn’t do it for me, gotta see if this one will)
    Bob’s burgers #6 ( for the wife)
Kodoja #1 ( new 215ink book. Gotta check it out)
We can never go home #5 ( great read and art)
Enormous vol2 #3 ( love this series. Can’t wait to see what Tim Daniels has in store for this book in the future)
Green Lanter #48 ( just for the poly bag variant)

  4. We Can Never Go Home 5. Love this title. I’m glad this will be returning, and I’m thankful for all the support that CHU has shown for all the Black Mask books.

Paper Girls 3. Wow. Two great issues so far, and I don’t see this story slowing down!

More Gwenpool. Eager for a few more panels.

Invader Zim 5. There is a twisted kid inside most of us, and that is the part of me that loves Invader Zim.

    1. Don’t worry about getting more Gwenpool.. there’s a special coming out next week. Sigh.. sorry, I’m so done now with Gwen*… 😉

  5. my pickups
    1. All New All Different Avengers 2 – I really like this lineup. Especially because it has a lot of characters who I find interesting, but not interesting enough (yet) to justify buying their solo titles.
    2. Daredevil 1 – As a lawyer, I love seeing Charles Soule writing lawyer/superhero comics (i.e. She-Hulk).
    3. Dr. Strange 3 – really interesting and unique series so far
    4. Extraordinary X-men – Interesting, but still waiting for things to really get going.
    5. Howard the Duck 2 – Loved the last volume, love Zdarsky. and Gwenpool!
    6. Iron Man 4 – How great was that scene in the last issue where Tony is waiting for the high five from Doctor Strange for Awesome Facial Hair Bros.
    7. Totally Awesome Hulk 1 – Love Frank Cho.
    8. East of West 22 – I think Hickman is really writing a masterpiece here.
    9. Nailbiter 18 – One of my “I’ll Read This Series Till It Ends” books, regardless of the quality of an individual issue.
    10. Enormous 3 – or 9 or whatever the numbering system is. Great series, but the release schedule is brutal.
    11. We Can Never Go Home 5 – I really don’t understand the level of hype on this series. Its an entertaining read. But pretty cliché and not really showing us anything new. And the hype is seriously insane. Have you seen what Issue 1 is selling for on ebay? I just don’t get it. But an enjoyable series none the less.

And I missed out last week because of Thanksgiving, so I’ll be picking up Bloodshot, Wolverine, Guardians of the Galaxy, Outcast, and Saga. Also, I ordered the complete Knightfall Batman Series from the 90’s. Excited for that to get here.

  6. Dark Corridor #5: Sales are low so i’m not sure how long this will stick around but i’m enjoying it.
The Humans #10: Love this series and I’m excited it’s coming back next year.
James Bond #2: First issue was solid, There’s some promise here.
Paper Girls #3: Another BKV homerun
Prez #6: originally supposed to be 12 issues, cut to 6. I won’t miss it.
Sunflower #2: Loved the first issue and this series could be a favorite of mine.
Unfollow #2: Intriguing first issue. There seemed to be a ton of ads however, I found them annoying.

I’m dropping Vertigo’s “Clean Room”. It’s not what I was hoping it would be. I am going to try and score the last couple of issues of Nailbiter and transition from trades to monthly with it.

  7. No Enormous or Kodoja here in the UK, looks diamond stiffed 215 again…

Also the only cover for X’ed here was the red one, is this the A cover? The one advertised had a ‘cover may be subject to change’, or did you guys get the one advertised over there?

    Pick ups;

    Sunflower #2
    Unfollow #2
    X’ed #1
Citizen Jack #2 – Agree with Poyo, dug the first issue of this.
Humans #10 – Hilarious and great art.
Paper Girls #3 – I’m probably not vibeing this as much as others seem to be but it’s BKV so i’ll stick with it.
Star wars #13 action figure – got to collect them all now i’ve got this far!
    WCNGH #5

I sold my Howard the Duck Gwenpool. Marvel know they’ve got something there that people like but it’s a novelty and I can see the appeal for cosplay etc but I don’t think they know what to do with her, short or long term. Which is why they’re just doing these shorts. If they new what to do with her she’d have her own title. I can’t see her having any longevity so decided to cash in.

  8. All I’ve got to say is that my Gwenpool Howard the Duck #2 variant was sold for $70.00 before I entered the store today…

It was a guilt free day of Paper Girls, Red Wolf, X’ed, Star Wars, The Humans because of Gwenpool. I’ll ride this market trend as long as it’s willing to carry me. “More Gwenpool, please,” says my wallet.

  9. Not sure if anybody else will read this, but for anyone that did not get everything they wanted on LCSD (like me) Midtown has most of them listed for sale next week
