CBCS 9.8 Star Wars #1’s for HERO INITIATIVE

It is nice to give and get. Here is your chance to do both. The Comic Mint is a new Web site doing Auctions for comic related items only (auctions start in January or February, they are doing buy-it-now only at the moment.) They are charging less fees than eBay, and you can list your books on both at the same time. They are doing a charity auction on 100 copies of CBCS 9.8 graded Star Wars #1 (2015) First Prints. Cheap too.

Considering the cost of shipping a book out, paying for grading, and paying for the book to be mailed back, this is a steal.

The 9.8 Graded Star Wars #1’s are $29.95 plus $8.95 shipping. Of the 100 copies they had graded they currently have 95 left.

      1. We can go broke together. When our wives divorce us, we can live under a bridge together with all of our precious comics!

        1. The sun could damage them. No never. Unless the hut made of slabs is tarped over. Also don’t think the cases are water proof. Anybody want to donate a 9.8 NM 98 for a submersion test (and instant ridicule for videoing it) (also yes, I know they are not water proof)

      1. Also its a somewhat hard one to get the 1st print in 9.8… a lot of copies I’ve seen have dirt marks, thumb prints, smudges along that white spine. Plus it did go to 6 printings (at least)

      2. Sure there are likely a million copies of Star Wars but there’s around 15 billion Star Wars fans.. yes, I’m counting those that have already died after the original movies and future fan babies being born right now and within the next few years.. šŸ˜‰

      1. I didn’t get tracking but did get a order confirmation from them. Mine came today and yes, I got a gorgeous 9.8 along with the extra raw copy that looks like another 9.8 comic itself. Very nice, very good impression.. I will most likely be a repeat customer with them.
