CBR had this earlier today. Deadpool 2099, who first appears in Deadpool #6, will be back in issue 12. She was not a one and done character.
Female Deadpool characters seem to be hot, on the secondary market. Deadpool 2099 is no different. We had this issue as a pick of the week last week, and already Deadpool #6 is going for more than double cover price on eBay. Mycomicshop still has copies if you do not want to pay eBay prices but have raised the price on the new book to $8.
After her successful debut in last week’s “Deadpool” #6, CBR can exclusively report that Merc from the future, Warda Wilson — a.k.a. Deadpool 2099 — will headline Gerry Duggan and Scott Koblish’s “Deadpool” ongoing in single-issue stories between the main arcs of the series. The first Deadpool 2099 one-off will be in “Deadpool” #12, out later this year.
“We had a lot of fun with it, and I’m hoping readers will be surprised with how much connective tissue this arc shares with our current ongoing story,” Duggan told CBR News of “Deadpool 2099.” “There was too much story for just one issue to contain. Too many secrets to reveal, and too many new ideas and characters to introduce… or re-introduce. Deadpool 2099 is a family affair. See you in the future.”
Take the very first look at the cover for “Deadpool” #12 and the second-printing variant for issue #6 (due in stores in February) featuring Warda Wilson front and center, along with some of Koblish’s sketches and a Li’l Deadpool 2099 sketch by Irene Lee, below:
Well let’s just hope it keeps heating up cuz I have only one copy that I will sell when the price is right.
I really wish they would foil these covers like the old 2099 #1s with the same border.
Yes!!!
That would have been a nice touch. People would cry that it is the end of comics though.

Only if they also poly-bagged them, included a trading card and printed 2 million of them! Talk about bringing back memories!
Lol. Yup.
This news is music to my ear$.
Also thanks for making the comment that made me remember to post the story up.

Glad I could help ?
Great news I have two copies of each cover. One shop I went to yesterday still had quite a few still on the shelf, may have to pick up a couple more. Will definitely be getting a couple of these. Don’t really read Deadpool much but the upcoming arc with Sabertooth looks interesting.
Anyone here want to sell me a first print copy at a friendly price?
Joe I might be able to make that happen. Email me at apopcomics@gmail.com and let’s work something out.
