Aftershock Comics debuted with their first 4 titles and Superzero did the best at 10,000 copies.
Some big TV property comics had small print runs like Bobs Burgers, Jim Henson, Gi Joe, Rick and Morty.
Black Mask comics both sold under 5,000 copies even with lots of hype.
Carver Paris Story #1 surprisingly sold way more than Show side #2.
Keep in mind most books at the bottom of the sales list actually have more than 1 cover making copies of each individual cover actually much rarer yet.

  1. Great info. I’m hoping some of these books from Black Mask lead to really big things, but they seem to be shooting themselves in the foot a bit with taking forever to release some of their follow-up issues. Whatever happened to the next issue of Young Terrorists? Clandestino? Transference?

    1. From what I heard the publisher lost a few people very close to them (deaths) and it set things back a bit. Not sure if this is 100% accurate but that is what I had heard. Yeah, Clandestino and YT came out in October.

      1. If true, that sucks. But yeah, the delay is doing more harm despite the hold back reasons…. what’s that old saying…… “The show must go on”
