Agent Poyo's Picks of the Week for Feb 24th, 2016

Another exciting week of comics is upon us. What will be hot? What could be the big winner this week? It’s all a guessing game for the most part since anything could happen. Hopefully there aren’t any delays this week in my area due to the weather up North, which totally threw off my weekly ritual of picking up my books.
So, let’s get on with it shall we…
DC/Vertigo Pick:
Grayson #17 (DC) Neal Adams Variant – Just a sweet looking cover.
Aquaman #49 (DC) Neal Adams Variant – Another sweet looking covers.
I don’t know about you all but these have been slim pickings at my local shops. DC should do more great artist covers like this. These Neal Adams covers are a hit out of the ballpark if you ask me.
Marvel Pick:
X-Men Worst X-Man Ever #1 (Marvel) – What? A X-Men book? Well, it’s Max Bemis and I’ve enjoyed his indie books he’s put out. This is his first Marvel gig so here’s to hoping he lives up to his potential.
Honorable Mention: Karnak #2 is out. It’s been since October since #1 hit the shelves.. I hope they don’t do this again because that is not how you keep readers reading..
Indie Pick:
Imposter #1 (21 Pulp) – I love indie books. My only gripe is when I fall in love with one and it just vanishes like a fart in the wind. Well, I like it when a fart doesn’t stick around for long.. Here’s to hoping this is a kick ass read and sticks around long enough to finish the story, however long that may be.
That’s all I got. Is it me or does it seem like there’s nothing really standing out lately as being a good spec? Tell us what your picking up, dropping.. you know the drill.

    1. I’m going to sketch a Gwen Pool and send it your way.. if and when I find copious amounts of spare time.

    1. Honestly I thought Anthony was going to pick it and surprised he didn’t either. Well, let the riots begin! 🙂

      1. boobies
Actually looking forward to it as it is a Full Moon Comic. I love Full Moon Movies and have been picking up the ones that are related to the movies I like.
