Variant Envy: Enormous #1 El Mole Variant (and Possible TV show Update)

Tim Daniel drops by several sites on a regular basis to update fans on Enormous. He is good like that. He dropped by the CGC boards recently to show off these sweet Enormous #1 el Mole Variant.

These Spanish Language reprints are only available at the el Mole Convention in Mexico, of course there are some sellers who are pre-selling copies of Enormous #1 el Mole Variant. variants on eBay.

The kicker is the message he left over on the CGC boards.

Hola,
Getting ready for La Mole Comic Con and wanted to share a little something. The cover and flipside of the book (which is in fact a Spanish language translation– more news on foreign editions soon) depicts a creature never before seen in the books.
Now, some folks have been asking about show progress. This beast has never appeared in the books before… wonder what that might mean, wonder what it might have been created for, what use or purpose? Hmmm.

So looks like the back of the book features a monster design for the TV show. Tim Daniel has been very tight lipped about TV show info. With good reason too, he could violate the contract if he gave away too much info. Needless to say it is nice that they are doing character and monster designs (or at least have.)

  1. Yeah in some mexican cultures, the scorpion is a very desirable Creature. And to make it into a giant creature is sick. And to release it in Mexico is cool. I used to have some uncles that use cowboy belts with a live scorpion buckle.

  2. Will any grading company slab and grade a Enormous Treasury edition? Would display great almost like a poster with how Enormous it is lol. Also this book (treasury edition) seems to have all but disappeared on eBay

      1. There are companies that will grade and slab books. You could probably go with one of them to do it.
