      1. Gonna have to wait to see how big he looks compared to the actual adults when we get a better shot of him standing next to one of them. But sounding like a kid is spot on, since we know it’s a younger actor so I’m assuming he’s recently become Spider-Man in the Marvel timeline in the movies.

      1. Yeah, true but I don’t like how it looked like a cheap Spider-Man costume one would wea on Halloween. Hmm…

          1. Hopefully. Honestly, the one that Garfield wore (that type of fabric) looks most ideal instead of the really thin looking spandex look.

              1. Now, if his eyes are like Stark tech in the movie where it zooms in and out for him.. that’s cool. But if they’re moving and he pulls off a spandex only mask.. I’m gonna be all pissy, cause fabric doesn’t move like that. 😉

  1. Very excited! Stark calls him “Underoos” so I am thinking this is early on or a first version of the costume made by stark seeing, like Tony pointed out, because the eyes move or focus in…. I wonder if we will see an Iron spider suit before the end of the film? With that Stark does mention Underoos… Does that mean in the Marvel cinematic universe they have Avengers underoos or when they read comics they are mostly DC characters…because Superman, Batman and Wonder Wowman are all fictional of course. In their universe anyway… Or maybe Deadpool is a popular comic and Underoo?

  2. Poyo that’s exactly what I thought about spidey’s eyes lol. And the costume looks cheesy I still like Tobey Maguire’s spidey outfit. This movie sure does have me pumped up though. This might be the one to go and see at the movies. Haven’t seen a movie at the theatre for about 6 years or so and this might be the one lol.

  3. This IS the costume Tony Stark makes him, you can tell because his eyes shrink, meaning he has some type of mechanical/technological part of his suit. I am assuming the fact that it looks kind of glowy has something to do with the tech in the suit.

  4. Well in the civil war comic book story line he gets the iron spidey suit from Stark. I’m hoping this is just his first home made suit and he upgrades in the movie, this Spidey suit makes me feel disappointed the same way I felt when they showed the purple face Apocalypse and cheap looking storm and psylocke costume test photos.( Which look to have been fixed.) My biggest problem with this clip is Tony Stark saying the Avengers need to be put in check and creating this whole rift in the Avengers team, when it was his recklessness and disregard for everyone’s opinion and thoughts that created Ultron and the whole destruction of Sokovia and almost end of the world in the last Avengers movie. To me it doesn’t fit in the MCU storyline to have reckless Tony who constantly puts the world at threat with his money and technology mishaps in 5 movies now, asking to have babysitters for superheroes when the majority of all the problems are created by him and his ego.

    1. That’s what makes the story compelling, and that Captain America, who one would think would get in line with the government, isn’t necessarily privy to that idea. It’s actually one of my favorites Marvel comics events.

  5. Wait! Lets just stop this movie from being released…..lots of people here don’t seem to like spider-mans costume AND moving eyes. Yeah, lets boycott this movie…..SHIT! Can you all just be fucking happy that SM is now in the Marvel Universe!!!! I’m surprised that nobody has complained about Black Panthers suit or Black Widow not having a Russian accent. Can you just be happy for once!! Either that or just read the comics and don’t watch the comic movies cause they’re NOT going to be to YOUR liking. Have a great day!

    1. Although I am in agreement with you, may want to consider easing up a bit. This site isn’t a standard internet forum. Lots a awesome, comic enthusiasts and very little trolling, rarely any, if any from the regulars on here! Don’t be afraid to make your point and be rational as well. You will much more often than not get some very well thought out responses that may lead to some awesome conversations about the hobby and films we enjoy.

      1. Thanks for that response. I didn’t see the original message. Out of the bag now. This is a very good group of friendly regulars who enjoy comics and talking about comics and pop culture.
Very little drama or fussing and everyone is entitled to express their pleasure or displeasure with anything. I do like to keep the cussing to a minimum though.
