By the Numbers: February 2016 Print runs

Two things generate increased value, supply and demand. Demand, we can only guess at, but we do not find out the supply until the next month. Here is a peek at the estimated print run numbers for February 2016.
(All print runs are estimated based on the number of copies ordered through Diamond, the best estimate that anyone can get.)
The top 10 comics sold less than 1 million copies. Last month was well over 1.1 million. Seven of the top 10 were Marvel, with two of the top three being DC. Three books above 100,000 copies.

Books of interest:
Wes Craven Coming of Rage 5 2,604- The end of the series, really thought the passing of Wes Craven would have effected the series more
Queen of Vampires 1 2,685- Tiny numbers for this Warren Vampirella like series. Has been a good read.
Grimm Fairy Tales Escape From Monster Island 1 4,359- Really small print run, makes the Boba Fett Cosplay Variant a 1:43, just saying.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 04,788- Second print came in a little lower than the 5,000 copies expected.
Dark and Bloody 1 8,622- Great new Vertigo series with a very low print run.

  1. If The Black Hood was a Marvel Max or Image title the numbers would be so much higher. People don’t know what they’re missing

    1. Agreed. I have seen messages all over the place saying they don’t buy it because it is Archie. So sad that they don’t give it a chance. I have also been enjoying Hangman which is some of the best supernatural noir I have read in a while.
