Flash #117 1st Captain Boomerang Graded 3.0 Finally Last 1st appearance I needed for every known character in suicide squad movie except Joker, but have Jokers 1st appearance in a Suicide squad book so that will be my replacement for not having a Batman #1 1st appearance of joker.
Avengers #195 1st appearance Taskmaster Cameo I have 196 needed to get the cameo as well.
Powerman #48 1st meeting of Ironfist and Luke Cage Excited to get this. People are also picking up Powerman #50 because the books name changes to Powerman and Ironfist in 50, but #48 is the more important book in my opinion.
Iron fist #1 first self titled 1st new Steel Serpent
Primer 5 has long been on my list of grabs. Will go nicely with my first Grendel.
Great job picking up Saga #1. The Retailer is one I’m hoping to have in my collection someday. I just need to get an old car, fix it and sell it to get the couple grand

Spider-Man / Deadpool #1 3rd, #2 2nd. I was not spec’ing on this at first so I had to get some #1’s 1st prints off of Amazon. I wasn’t expecting this title to be so hot.
This past weekend I picked up the A-Force #3 1:25 for $15.
Anyone have any experience with BCW hard top loaders? Is it ok 2 put two books in one top loader? They seem to fit 2 books just fine back to back both books with separate bags and boards. One book almost seems to lose in the top loader by itself. Does anyone else do this? Just want to make sure I’m not creating any possible damage by using 2 books per top loader before I store a bunch of books this way.
When using normal bags and boards, I’ve fit two in a top loader nicely. Nowadays when a comic deserves such extra protection in my collection, it gets a full backer board with a Mylar bag, which then only one will fit into a top loader.

I myself only put one book per top loader. I also use Archive protective sleeves comic grade envelopes. To protect my books. They are clear and thicker plastic then the comic bags. Top loaders can get expensive and these sleeves work just as fine. Haven’t had an issue with them up to date. Just my opinion.

Descender 9-11 (I dropped this after #7 and decided to pick it back up. My lcs is back-ordering #8 for me.)
Fantasy & Sci Fi Magazine Dec. 74 & Jan. 75 issues for the 2-part Kilgore Trout story, Venus on the Half-shell. Not really comics, I know, but related. My daughter read Kurt Vonnegut’s Breakfast of Champions as the family book-club book. Kilgore Trout is a fictitious character of Vonnegut. Philip Jose Farmer posed as Trout to write the story that appeared in the two issues of this magazine. It was later collected as a separate book. I was able to pick up the magazines together for much cheaper than the book. Now to watch the horrible Bruce Willis Breakfast of Champions movie.
Elasticator came out here a few weeks ago and was an interesting read. Will be picking up future issues.

Turncoat #1 stands out.Great looking art.Clandestino #2.Ninja women! The action heats up.I really liked this read. Also grabbed 2 copies of Bebob and Rocksteady Micro Series #7 and TMNT Archie Adventures #1-3 to add to my collection as extras.
Nice. I have a really good collection of original TMNT including a signed and sketched reprint of #3 (I think it’s 3 I can’t remember now)
Well, I am just letting my pulls pile up at my LCS. Instead of going in and grabbing all my pulls from my three week vacation pull hiatus, I went to my secondary LCS and grabbed back issues on a bunch of series I did not stay current on: Harrow County, Drifter, Amazing Spider-Man 1.2, 1.3. Getting ready for the sweet Francavilla Spidey cover coming out:
I also grabbed that sweet Inhumans Neal Adams variant at cover.
Apart from that, I picked up spec copies of:
1. Clandestino (already on pull at LCS 1 but this is going to be hard to find because most people forgot about
DreBlack Mask).2. Extraordinary X-Men 8 Stroman
3. Spider-Man/Deadpool 3rd printing (added hilarious dialogue, might be sought after).
Are people seeing any Women of Power variants at their LCS? I really am not seeing them anywhere. Very curious what the print runs will be showing
No. And the reason is the are percentage variants. Stores have to order like 120% of certain books in order to qualify for them. Stores that already order high on Marvel books are essentially locked out. Spoke to a couple of bigger retailers today that are kind of pissed.

Smaller stores qualify for them more easily. There are a ton on eBay so you should be able to find them easily.
I’ve been ordering mine from Midtown at cover. One of my local shops has been getting them (well, most of them) but usually at the $9.99 price.
With the exception of Deadpool 8, my lcs has the wop variants on the shelf at cover price. They wanted $10 for Deadpool 8. I picked up Extraordinary X-Men 8 wop today off the shelf.
I had just one book this week.
James Bond #5. I really think this has been a solid book and I’m surprised more people haven’t jumped on it.
I checked out #1 but I’ve never really been a Bond fan. I liked some of the Daniel Craig latest movies but other than that, the desire is not there for me. I guess Brubakers Velvet fills my needs for agent spy action thriller stories. 🙂
I’m not really a Bond fan. I’ve never read the novels and I eventually watch the movies after they hit home video so I know what you mean. And you’ll get no arguments from me about Brubaker. He’s my favorite comic writer.
Just a heads up, tonight at Barnes and Nobles is a Batman v. Superman event at 6pm at local stores. There are activities, prizes, a “limited exclusive comic”, and trivia contest. Could be a fun thing to do for parents and kids alike.

Haven’t done current issues in weeks. Except for Saga that is. Super excited about getting my Menace #5 and Adventures into Terror #4 pressed. Going to get them sent out this week then they will be signed the main man Stan Lee in May. The summer is going to be excellent.
Side note, I’m interested what my Adventures Into Terror 4 will come back as. It’s graded 7.0 but I’ve heard CGC is being more strict and grades are coming back lower. That would suck.
Send it in with the original label if it is a a signed reslab they should honor the original grade.
I’ve seen stuff on the Google plus community where they sent it in and it came back at lower grades with labels sent in. I’m scared
