Not sure about the rest of you all but this seems like another slow week, not much coming out, at least nothing that stands out as exciting. At least it’ll be nice on my wallet as I don’t plan to pick up too much.
So let’s get on with the picks.
DC/Vertigo Pick
Justice League of America #8 (DC) Neal Adams Variant – Slow week for DC but surely can’t pass up a nice Neal Adams cover.
Marvel Pick
Daredevil #5 (Marvel) Women of Power Variant – Sweet cover, probably the best WOP cover this week out of the bunch.
Pick of the Week:
Godzilla Oblivion #1 (IDW) – Who doesn’t love Godzilla? The last series was a hit, I’m hoping this one is just as good being written by JHF.
The Image #1 Pick
Power Lines #1 (Image) – Jimmie Robinson’s new book. Seems interesting enough. From the description, “A local street hood surviving in a crime-infested ghetto has his life turned around when an ancient magic grants him superhuman powers-except his ability only activates in an upscale white community that may not accept him. Gritty, racially charged street-wise drama!”
There a few favorites returning this week. Self Storage #4 hits stands, awesome read. CHU dubbed it “Storage Wars meets Walking Dead”.. Saga #35 and Black Science #21 are hitting stands, both great reads.
Another favorite is Six #5, which has been a great read, great story and character build up.
That’s all I got for now. Tell us what your spec’ing on or picking up.

Powerlines for sure
Hunting for the Captain America Steranko variant. I’ll be looking for the Ross too but doubt any shops around here ordered 100 copies. Finding the Steranko 1:50 is even a stretch.
Power Lines is a good read. Just finished it
Thanks for the heads up
