  1. I miss having this article Terry lol. It’s a good way to know what I can sell or keep lol. Thanks for bringing it back Tony.

  2. When did Terry make it into a pay subscription site? Last time I visited it was free. Your not thinking of charging for your site? Are you?

    1. No. I am not going to charge for this site. The little bit from the ads I host pay for the site. Terry switched it up to a pay site about 4 or 5 months back. He only charges $4.99 a month or if you spend $60 at Hoknesusa.com you can get it for free.

      1. Hey Anthony, do you know how long the membership lasts when you spend $60? I really miss Terry’s lists on here but $5 a month, while not much and certainly value for money, is just more expense when I put it on top off all the other monthly outgoings I have…

  3. I was just about to scale down on Henchgirl and stop buying multiple copies, but after the news not anymore.

  4. So this is the one aspect of comic speculating I can’t get a grasp on. I buy books that I think will do well as soon as they come out. For example I nabbed a couple of Henchgirl #1’s at cover price. Good news comes out and the comics value goes up. But say I never grabbed those cover price copies just because I wasn’t sure if it was going to do well. The good news comes out and now all the copies are $50+. Now I want to jump on the bandwagon lol
Is it a good idea to buy the books at their new inflated price? Purely based on the future value of the book, not something for you personal collection.

    1. No. Never. Never buy on the high side. What I do suggest is hunt in the wild for the issues. I actually bought copies for cover price from midtown as I was writing it up. Sometimes you just have to say you missed the boat and move on. There will be hundreds of opportunities like this throughout the year. Just wait for the next one. But never buy on the high side.

      1. So would you say the upcoming key issues for the walking dead have hit there peak? Or is it once they appear on the show?

  5. Wasn’t there a earlier version of Disney’s HAUNTED MANSION by Slave Labor in 2005? Low print run and forgotten in Overstreet guide.

    1. Yea there is. I actually added it to a Blind Adam’s Hidden Gems a while ago as people do not seem to remember it even though it was a hot book long ago. Further more, it is drawn by the incredibly talented Drew Rauch who happens to be one of the nicest guys in comics (and local to Maryland). Drew has done numerous sketches of me and my wife as zombies. I think Drew is currently working on Edward Scissorhands.
